A Sign of God’s Promises

Last Friday evening,  I was driving home from Dallas Seminary and it started to rain and the sun was out. Making a perfect rainbow. I was able to capture this picture from the window from my car (and yes I was at a stop light).

It reminds me of God’s faithfulness and promises that he’ll never flood the earth again and for us in our daily walk with Him. I always enjoy little reminders, especially during the  hard times. Life can be hard sometimes, but God’s faithfulness to us will never end. He will never fail us.  He is with us no matter what.

Just small reminders of God’s faithfulness to us. It can be as simple as sunset over the lake, rainbows or just nature you see around you.

Then God said, “I am giving you a sign of my covenant with you and with all living creatures, for all generations to come. I have placed my rainbow in the clouds. It is the sign of my covenant with you and with all the earth.”

Genesis 9:12-13 (NLT)
