Gotcha Day
25 years ago, on October 24th, my parents adopted me from China. Grateful for my family and the friends I’ve made throughout my life. Friends that have become family. To my family and friends who through so much in life. One particular family who helped my parents adopt my sister Helene and I were babies. Helene and I went on a sister road trip to Arkansas over an overnight camping sister trip. We had just seen them for lunch that day and we managed not to be able to go camping. We called them as last minute emergency for the night. Friends that open their home in a last minute situation, you just know they have become my extended family. I have so many friends who I got to choose to become my extended family. Grateful to the the Lord for giving me the best family and friends and I could ever ask for. For we may not be related by blood, we have become family in Christ. Jeremiah 29:11
