20th Anniversary

20 years ago, on September 11th, a day I hope we never forget. The deadliest attack since Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941. As planes attacked the World Trade Center in New York City. A beautiful city! What a world we live in.

Where were you during this time? As the news flashed tv and the radio stations all over the US. What a day to never forget.

I’m sure everyone was terrified on this day. I have read about this in history books in school. My parents probably not talked about it that much since my sister Helene and I were so young. We were 7 years ago and in Oregon when it happened.

I wonder what the world would have been like if Adam and Eve didn’t sin. I wonder what the world would have been like if 9/11 never happened.

May the Lord protect us as we move forward. As more tragedy happens, let’s pray nothing too bad happens. People will sin this world. Like I said in an earlier post, this world will never be perfect. This is our temporary home. Our eternal home is in heaven.

May we never forget, September 11, 2001.

  1. Thank you, Hannah, for sharing these thoughts today. It’s so encouraging to remember the hope we have in Jesus for forever! This is a very timely reminder. Love you, Heidi
