Life Verse
Why is this particular verse your life verse?
Fall of 2016 when I was at school I decided to quit Pensacola Christian College and come home. I didn’t know where the Lord was leading and I remember hearing this verse in a movie I had watched. Then I felt like the Lord was speaking to me.
How does this verse comfort you?
I tend to be a worry wart and not knowing where I’ll be at. ie: school, a career etc. Then I always remind myself that the Lord know my plans.
How does this verse challenge you?
It challenges me to focuses on me not to worry about the future cause God always has a plan for my life.
Within the context of this chapter how does this verse apply to you life now, and how has it applied to your life in the past?
It applied to me in 2016 as I came home and wondering what I should next with mi life. Now as I seek career choices.
What do you feel that the Lord is teaching you through this verse?
He helps me not to always lean on myself and not always trying to figure stuff out on my own. To always lean on God and not try to do everything myself.
In conclusion, this post sums up why this particular verse became my life verse.
This blog post was written by me along with my friend Gail Rodgers.
“For I know the plans I have for you”, declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
